How is this training camp different from Cameron Highland camp?
The Cameron Highlands camp is more competition-focused, with intensive training designed to prepare athletes for the upcoming competition season.
This camp has a different purpose. It focuses more on conditioning, motivation and overall development, combining structured training with outdoor adventure and team challenges. Athletes will also take time to reflect, reset and set goals for the rest of the year.
Both camps are valuable, just in different ways — one prepares athletes for competition, while the other helps them build the fitness, mindset and direction to keep progressing.
What will athletes be doing in this camp?
Athletes will follow a structured daily schedule that includes:
Athletics training
Outdoor adventure activities
Interactive team challenges
Camp duties and room responsibilities
Group discussions and reflection
Campfire and performance activities
The camp provides an environment where athletes can focus on their training, make use of the available facilities and learn to manage themselves more independently.
They will also have the opportunity to experience outdoor camping, overcome new challenges and create lasting memories with the Kawan family.
What outdoor activities are included?
The planned outdoor activities include:
Tent setup and outdoor camping
Hi-Element rope course
Obstacle course
Interactive team games
Campfire activities
The outdoor programme is designed to challenge athletes physically and mentally while developing teamwork, communication, problem-solving and confidence.
The final activities and schedule may be adjusted depending on the weather, safety conditions, group size and recommendations from the activity provider.
