One big Kawan weekend: our 6th Kawan Athletics Championship brought together schools, clubs and families for new records, Milo, and a gloriously chaotic Mix & Match Fun Relay (yes, with chairs and mops as batons). The next day, our first Awards Night shifted from timings to stories, speeches, hidden talents and heartfelt thanks to the people who keep Kawan moving.

From racing up Arabella to late-night drama rehearsals, this camp wasn’t just about training — it was about finding out who we are when things get tough. We saw growth, we saw grit, and we saw how far some have come. From quiet mentors who showed up without being asked, to first-timers who stepped out of their shell — every moment told a story.
