New season, new updates! From our 2026 event line-up and an upcoming Under Distance competition to new training sessions and coaching achievements, here’s what’s new at Kawan Athletics as we head into the year ahead.

Four days in Putrajaya with athletes aged 9–15. Some loved it, some found it tough. Everyone learned something. Training continues next week.

One big Kawan weekend: our 6th Kawan Athletics Championship brought together schools, clubs and families for new records, Milo, and a gloriously chaotic Mix & Match Fun Relay (yes, with chairs and mops as batons). The next day, our first Awards Night shifted from timings to stories, speeches, hidden talents and heartfelt thanks to the people who keep Kawan moving.
